In Huzhou, to the north of the city center and on the banks of Tai Hu Lake, gmp is designing a branch office with prominent twin towers. The towers are 90 meters tall with adjoining plinth buildings. The northwestern high-rise will be occupied by the Ningbo Bank, whereas the northeastern high-rise is designated for use by various other companies. The shape of the towers develops out of a square groundplan. The design's special feature is the formulation of the tower facades: Diagonally inscribed angles in the facades emphasize the verticals, while the four tower corners are rounded.
