The project interprets Arab culture and architectural elements in a contemporary key. It is based on a geometry of simple volumes interlocked together hinged in a block thatrepresents the distributive element of the stairwell. In the traditional Arab context, the use of the Mashrabiyya is recurrent, a shielding system that protects from the sun’s rays, facilitates the ventilation of the rooms, modulates the sunlight to create pleasant shaded environments and at the same time guarantees the privacy of the inhabitants of the villa.
