Deli is one of the largest producers of stationery in China. A new corporate headquarters with a gross floor area of 62,500 square meters is being designed for a plot in Genbei New Area to the west of Hangzhou’s city center. The design consists of an ensemble consisting of five 50-meter-tall volumes that are grouped together in symmetrical constellations of two and three. A plinth connects two elongated wings to the north, whereas a podium connects three more compact highrises toward the highway to the south. The landscaped area between the podiums will open onto a small park to the east. Protected from street noise, it will become an area for lingering and relaxing for residents and employees alike.
