The site is located on the territory of the Gorny Air ski base, where championships were held and Olympians trained. Along with this the island historically has a great influence of Japanese culture. In the project, modernity and tradition merge, complementing each other. The facade solution embodies modern architecture, with vertical wooden slats forming a "veil" that changes the pattern of the facade depending on the angle of view. Traditionalism is represented in the choice of materials, in particular, burnt wood, which has been used in Japan since the 18th century.
