The Shenkar Laboratories and workshops incorporate numerous energy efficiency measures, advanced lighting systems (Natural and Artificial) and intelligent building management system. The laboratories and workshops include Metal Workshop, Wood Workshop, Ceramic Workshop, Glass Workshop, Textile Archives, offices and classrooms. The buildings have been designed to operate with very low levels of energy and to use high level of insulation and natural ventilation for the diverse laboratories, labs and workshops within the complex.
