West End Square 37 by TEN Arquitectos, Washington, USA
On a quiet block of L Street, the 160,000 square foot West End Square 37 development shapes a dynamic and inviting urban corner. The sculptural massing of the project is generated by the unique conditions of the site, and its confluence as a neighborhood situated between the National Mall, Georgetown and Dupont Circle. The stepped facade expresses each residential unit, offering it corner windows and a direct individual visual exchange with the city. In addition to 92 residential units and landscaped common areas, the building houses a library, street-side cafe and retail spaces.
