Aedas' Shenzhen team has won a competition to design the Hengqin Science City Phase II Plot 2. Situated in the High-tech Industrial Zone in Hengqin Science City, the site is dedicated to the bio-medical industry, data centres and auxiliary facilities which is designed to be an innovative live-work-recreate community surrounded by green belts and parks.

The project consists of eleven towers with offices, research and incubation centres, laboratories, data centres, residential apartments, exhibition spaces, retail and leisure facilities. The design grows from a 'seed' exhibition gallery sited on the west of the plot which is a gateway to the project. Data centres are strategically placed towards the north and close to the artificial intelligence and tech innovation district; while the bio-medical related facilities on the west are adjacent to the Chinese medicine research area. Residential towers are sited near the school.
