Otto Design Group is seeking a self-motivated individual for full time employment in our Los Angeles studio. We are a fast growing design-focused office with a variety of project types and sizes. Applicants must have robust knowledge of all phases of design with an emphasis in Construction Documentation, Construction Administration and the development of details.

Required Skills and Experience:

Applicants MUST meet the following criteria to be considered:

- Proficiency with AutoCAD.
- Professional Degree in Architecture from an accredited university architecture program and a minimum of 5 years post-graduate architectural experience.
- Experience with technical aspects of architecture and assembly of construction documents.
- Substantial construction contract administration experience on commercial and/or retail projects.
- Demonstrated practical understanding of building materials, construction technology and detailing, including knowledge of related Codes.
- Examples of work demonstrating an understanding of sustainable design.

The following qualifications are highly desirable:

- Project leadership experience, including management and coordination of architectural and consultant team members for projects over 50,000 sf.
- Experience with BIM (Revit).
- A demonstrated ability to take initiative and to follow through.
- A demonstrated ability to collaborate with others in a design team environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication, problem solving and organizational skills.
