Global architecture firm Perkins&Will, in collaboration with ARUP, Grimshaw Architects, EPS , AIM Consulting, and the City of Sacramento, have transformed the city's historic train station into a self-reliant and regenerative transportation hub, making it one of the most sustainable public areas in California. Cielo Santo is the "forever" home for a couple moving to Santa Fe from Hollywood. Intrigued by the remains of a stone wall on their site, they asked us to incorporate the element into their home. We have extrapolated this into the spine of the house: the rooms extend irregularly from the stone wall to maximize views, light and shadow, and the inside/outside style of living they want. >>>
