Leroy Street Studio is a unique architectural firm with an integrated practice model that incorporates community design, construction management and interior design. Our work is inspired by innovation, the craft of construction, and a collaborative approach. We are seeking an architect to lead the development of projects through all phases of design.

Requirements for the position:

- Professional degree (B Arch or M Arch); licensure preferred but not required.
- 5-8 years of work experience, preferably with experience in single family residential design.
- Strong design background with good research, technical and detailing skills.
- Strong project management and team leadership ability.
- Excellent organizational, writing, and verbal communications skills.
- Proficiency in CAD, Sketchup / Rhino, and Adobe Creative Suite.
- Ability to work collaboratively in an intensive, open office environment.

studioMDA is an international group of designers with a wide range of skills and perspectives working in an open studio that encourages collaboration. We are architects, interior designers, graphic designers, builders and artists. We work at multiple scales, from product design to urban planning, and we collaborate with a wide range of arts, engineers and construction professionals from the very beginning of each project. We generate designs that are site specific and that address the unique requirements of each client and program.

We are seeking candidates for full time job positions for a variety of commercial and multi-unit residential projects throughout NYC.

- Understanding of construction documents.
- Ability to multi-task, detail oriented and organized.
- AutoCAD, Rhino, Vray, Adobe Creative Suite.
- B. Arch or M. Arch degree.
