Garrison Architects is looking for a talented designer with 1+ year of professional experience to join our office. Ongoing and upcoming projects include mixed-use developments in NYC, modular residence halls at various universities, and civic projects such as a theatre, and an animal shelter. Working internationally on a range of award-winning projects, Garrison Architects has designed private residences, embassies, emergency housing, private residences, educational facilities and various modular projects.

The Junior Architect will work within a small team to develop a project from early design stages, through construction documents, including developing design concepts, programming strategies, and material selections. The ideal candidate will possess a careful attention to detail, and demonstrated experience visualizing their designs in both 3d and 2d.

Candidates will have the following qualifications:

- Bachelors or Masters of Architecture degree.
- 1+ year minimum experience on architectural design projects.
- Good digital design and visualization skills.
- Fluency in Rhino, VRay, AutoCAD, and Adobe Suite skills.
- Revit Experience Preferred.
- Ability to work both individually and as part of a team.
- Valid working permit.

Theo Green Designs are looking for ambitious and hard working individuals to join the growing practice in West Dorset.

Work will be on a range of projects focusing predominantly on private residential work in and around West Dorset, ranging from contemporary new builds to renovation, remodelling and extensions.

The right candidate will be creative and motivated and should have an interested in sustainable design. Some experience of working in practice is preferable however training and support will be given where necessary therefore recent graduates will be considered.

As a minimum, candidates must be proficient in Autocad, Sketchup, Photoshop and In Design. Excellent written and verbal communication skills will be important as the chosen candidate will be expected to deal with clients and other consultants as well as statutory bodies such as planning and building control. Technical knowledge and experience would be an advantage although we are looking to fill both creative and technical roles so each applicant will be considered on their individual merits.

The office is located in rural West Dorset therefore this opportunity would suit applicants who are either currently resident in the West Country or specifically looking to relocate to the area. Successful applicants will need a driving licence and their own vehicle.
