Senior Interior Designer
19/02/2016Workshop / APD is currently looking for a Senior Interior Designer with 4 - 6 Years of experience. Workshop / APD is a design firm specializing in both luxury home design and high-end commercial development. We actively leverage our experience to solve design challenges with innovative solutions that incorporate sustainable methods and ingenuity within a signature aesthetic.
Specific required qualifications:
- Sourcing of furnishings and fabrics.
- Furniture Planning.
- Elevation Drawings.
- Work with JR Designer in preparing Client presentations.
- Maintain Project budgets.
- Manage project timeline and expectations.
- Manage Multiple projects from beginning to end.
- Act as liaison between client and the creative director.
Requirements:
- AutoCAD 2011.
- Adobe creative suite.
- MS Office.
- Sketchup.
- Extremely organized.
- Efficient in handling multiple projects at once.
- 4 - 6 Yrs of Experience.
Candidates should be prepared to present their portfolio of work. This is a full-time position. Compensation is commensurate with experience.

Intermediate Interior Architect
19/02/2016Award-winning boutique architectural / interior design studio looking for an Intermediate Interior Architect to join our highly creative and growing firm. Opportunities for rapid advancement available to highly motivated individuals. Applicant must have 5 to 10 years of interior architecture / project management experience. Must have restaurant, hotel, retail design experience. ONLY those with experience in restaurant, hotel, retail design will be considered.
Must be highly motivated, detail oriented, have good verbal, communication and collaboration skills.
Applicant should meet the following requirements:
- Proficiency in Autocad, Photoshop, Word and Excel. Must be fluent in Rhino 3-d modeling and V-Ray rendering software or equivalent.
- Ability to manage all phases of projects from concept design through construction administration.
- Experience and competency in supervision and production of presentations, drafting and detailing.
- Experience and competency coordinating with owners, consultants and contractors.
- Full working knowledge of ADA requirements, building codes and standards.
- Legally able to work in the United States.
