You will be responsible for preparing design concepts and must be able to translate hand sketches to 3D images as per client requirements.

This is very much a client facing role with responsibility for managing the design from concept. The successful applicant must hold a Bachelor's Degree in Architecture with 10+ years of experience and strong capabilities in visualization and development of building design concepts for retail developments.

You should be proficient in AutoCAD, Photoshop Sketch-Up, 3DMax and other design software. Prior experience in a consultancy/developer is a must. Excellent communication skills in English are essential.

We are currently looking for an intermediate architect to join our team. We are looking for an Architect with experience in residential and commercial projects. Prior experience in preparation of construction plans for apartments, offices, restaurants and schools is a plus.

Responsibilities:

- Preparation of presentation drawings as well as construction documents.
- Survey Existing Conditions.
- Attend on-site visits, field reviews and project meetings, construction administration.
- Prepare and coordinate the review of contractor's schedules, submission of shop drawings and samples.
- Participate in team meetings to help resolve project issues, coordination with other disciplines, schedule adherence.

Required skills:

- Minimum 3-5 years New York City/State experience.
- Small Firm experience.
- Professional Degree in Architecture.
- Must have a general understanding of current and traditional materials and products.
- Working knowledge of architectural building systems.
- Working knowledge of building codes and ability to research and apply/incorporate into technical documents.
- Possess advanced CAD drafting skills using Autocad.
- 3-D modeling a plus.
- Ability to communicate both verbally and in writing.
- Ability to work in team environment.
- Ability to effectively meet deadlines.
