The Atlanta office of McAfee3 Architects is seeking qualified candidates for the position of Architect / Project Architect. This position is responsible for ensuring timely and effective communication between the Owner / Client, Design Team and General Contractor/Construction Manager during all phases of Design through the Construction of a project. The desired candidate must also have a working knowledge of building systems and coordinating design documents across disciplines. Work also requires hands on documentation and candidate must be reasonably proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, and Photoshop. The desired candidate must be familiar with building and life safety codes, accessibility regulations (the ADA, and the Georgia Accessibility Code), specification writing and construction administration processes.

Candidates should have an Architectural degree and a minimum of five years of experience. Candidates must also be familiar with Microsoft Office Suite programs including Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Microsoft Project. OMA’s Hong Kong office is looking for a mandarin speaking Architect to join. The Architect will work as a team member on projects in all design phases and will design drawing plans, create renderings, build presentation and working models. The selected candidate will report directly to the Project Leader or Associate of the current project and ultimately to the Partner in charge of the project.

Requirements:

- Bachelor or Master degree in Architecture, Masterplanning, Design or relevant field.
- 3 - 5 years’ experience in international renowned architecture or design offices (preferably in Asia).
- Strong conceptual, graphic and design talent.
- Practical experience in early design phases such as conceptual and schematic design.
- Strong AutoCAD, 3D Max, Rhino, Adobe Suite skills.
- Knowledge of Revit will be an asset.
- Experience on large scale projects.
- Bilingual proficiency in Mandarin is a must.
- Fluency in English, another other language is an asset.
- Confidence in working in a complex and international environment.
- Knowledge of OMA’s work.
- Immediate availability is preferred.
