The ideal candidate will be an organized self-starter with the following attributes:

- A fresh, creative design sensibility that is well-suited to the challenges of integrating the aesthetic objectives of our discipline with the technical aspects of construction.
- Minimum 5 years relevant experience with interior and exterior detailing.
- Experience directing and coordinating consultants.
- Drafts beautifully & efficiently.
- Has excellent references.

Additional Qualifications:

- A degree in architecture or design from an accredited school.
- Architectural registration a plus, not required.
- Skill with freehand sketches / renderings.
- 3-D modeling a plus (indicate which software in your reply).
- Comfort with computers and a range of operating systems.
- Proficiency with Adobe creative suite, Word & Excel.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Vectorworks a plus; if not, we will train you U.S. Citizen or legal work status only.

Forum Architecture is a small practice in Southampton with an open and dynamic culture, specialising in; retail, education, office and commercial developments. We are seeking to recruit a talented and ambitious person who is looking to progress their career in construction.

Ideally you have experience using AutoCad and Revit, as well as possessing good design, technical and organisational skills. You will be capable of taking a lead role from concept through to completion and have experience of developing good client relationships.

The position requires a strong technical interest. You will join a well established team that can offer 1:1 training and first hand on site experience to further advance your career.

We expect you to be fluent in English with excellent visual and verbal communication skills as well as having knowledge of UK planning policy and building regulations.

A driving license is essential.
