LSY is seeking Architectural Designers with 2+ years of experience. Applicants should have well-rounded skills, a strong interest and capability in the design process, with equal emphasis on the project’s development through the CD phase. A positive and professional attitude, along with displaying good judgment, flexibility, and mutual support for each member of the firm.

Basic responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

Initiating design concepts, design development, and construction documents, in a manner consistent with firm-wide standards for project delivery.

Collaborates with design team members during the implementation of design to ensure clarity and quality of concept is maintained throughout the project.

Participate in client, user and on site meetings.

Understand design intent and goals for successful implementation.

Assist in the design control / construction administration phase of the projects.

Maintain firm-wide documentation procedures and standards.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Architecture required, Master's degree a plus.
- Professional architecture experience a plus, U.S based or equivalent architectural firm.
- Revit, AutoCAD, MS Office.
- Proficiency in English.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Strong design and technical skills.
- Team oriented, demonstrates a willingness to assist other members of the firm.
- Enthusiasm and adaptability to responding to project challenges with innovative solutions.
- Authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.

Firm is located in Downtown Silver Spring, MD, no re-location expenses. All of our projects are designed using Revit.
