The primary duties of the Architect will be to provide project participation in all phases of design including Concept, Design Development, Construction Documents and Construction Administration. The candidate must have design / production experience with knowledge of architectural working drawings / details. The following is required of the candidate:

- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture (professional degree only).
- 8-15 years of experience.
- Must be Registered Architect in the state of NY.
- Proficient in AutoCAD 2014 or later.
- Experience in BIM (Revit) and AECOsim a strong plus.
- Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Preferred project experience includes design of large-scale public projects (transit stations, convention centers, and similar) K-12 schools, and higher-education projects.
- Capability to assemble a set of Construction Documents.
- Experience and interest in sustainable design/documentation and Leed is strongly encouraged, with applicable accreditations preferred.
- Must possess a strong analytical and creative problem-solving skill set.

Vista Design Build is currently seeking an enthusiastic interior designer / junior designer to join our team. This position will work with the architectural team to select, schedule, and purchase FFE for interior hospitality projects including new construction and renovations. We are a small team of architects and designers, and a positive team attitude and excitement to learn are essential.

Responsibilities include:

- Design, documentation, purchasing management through all phases of hospitality interiors projects.
- Create materials boards & furniture presentation packages for client and franchise brand approvals.
- Construction document preparation (in Revit with assistance at first if needed).
- Maintaining an up-to-date materials library.
- Candidate should possess the following qualifications:.
- 2-5 years of experience in the interior design/architecture industry.
- Involvement in all phases of design / documentation.
- Degree in Interior Design or Architecture.
- Passion for hospitality design.
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Experience using Adobe Creative Suite programs, Microsoft Office programs, and AutoCAD. Revit experience a plus but not required.
- Understanding of brand standard requirements (ie Marriott, Hilton, Best Western).
