The practice is seeking an experienced Project Architect and an Architectural Technician to assist in our expanding workload of large-scale residential and mixed-use projects mostly located in London and would like to invite CVs from candidates with a proven 5+ years of relevant experience delivering high quality projects.

Project Architect

Experience running UK-based projects at all stages is essential as well as a strong capacity for managing a small team and ensuring day-to-day coordination of work in progress. The role requires a comprehensive understanding of the construction process on large-scale projects and the ability to produce working drawings and manage building regulation applications within Design & Build and Construction Management contracts.

Technical Abilities/Skills

- 5+ years UK-based experience.
- Excellent AutoCAD skills.
- Revit experience would be advantageous.

Position Summaries:

The Project Architect plans, coordinates, and engages in production drawing and construction detailing. Directs activities of assigned projects to ensure project objectives and deliverables are accomplished. Reviews project scope to determine time frame, resource requirements, and procedures and initiates course corrections as necessary. Produces CD sets and manages CD teams.

The Architectural Intern provides design development, architectural modeling, production of working drawings, coordination of consultants and building systems, and detailing on a variety of project types and sizes. Responsible for specific technical design aspects of an assigned project including investigation, evaluation, and recommendation of design solutions.

Qualifications:

- Bachelors or Masters Degree in Architecture or related degree from an accredited program.
- Architect – licensure preferred with 6-12 years experience across various project sizes and types.
- Architectural Intern – 2-5 years of experience across various project types.
- Knowledge of Revit.
- Enthusiasm and willingness to contribute to OZ’s development, teamwork and culture.
