We are a dynamic young firm looking to build our company with talented and motivated team members. We have an opening for a hardworking and self-starting Jr. Architect. The position will cross between all disciplines of our firm and work closely with our architects and designers. Designing, CAD work, space planning and project coordination are all a part of this position. Supporting teams as well as taking ownership of project details will be expected.

Candidate Requirements:

- Architectural degree-4 year degree minimum.
- 1-4 years experience.
- Professional references.
- Strong computing skills including ACAD, PHOTOSHOP, InDesign, Microsoft Office Suite. MS Project, Rhino, Sketchup preferred but not required.
- Comprehensive portfolio of student and professional work.

Candidate Qualities:

- Willingness to wear many "hats" and toggle between various projects.
- Team player with creative and organizational talent.
- Passionate about design of all types.
- Good verbal and writing skills.
- Located in New York metropolitan area.

Position Responsibilities:

- Support Architects and Designers across all projects.
- Assist with project coordination, organization of presentations, drawing sets and deliverables.
- There will be client interaction for this candidate, a professional and confident demeanor is critical.
- CAD support and coordination of project documentation.
- This is full time salaried position.

Candidates will have a minimum of 4 years post qualification experience working in the UK and have a working knowledge of the UK Planning processes.

Candidate should be able to demonstrate:

- Strong design skills and excellent knowledge of AutoCad.
- Good knowledge of Adobe Suite & Sketch-up.
- Ability to work within in a team and lead when called upon.
- Ability to take initiative, work autonomously and build strong relationships both internally and externally.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience of coordinating and liaising design with external consultants.
- Experience liaising with Local Authority Planning Departments.
- Part III qualification and ARB registration.
- Full driving licence.
