Oppenheim Architecture Basel office is looking for a Senior Project Architect with a strong conceptual design talent and extensive experience (+5 yrs) in high-end residences and hotel projects in Switzerland, Liechtenstein, Middle East and Asia.

Candidates should have experience in developing client relationships, leading and mentoring a team and completing high quality work in Switzerland and beyond. The Project Architect will collaborate with consultants and local architects to produce a comprehensive design package through intensive coordination work.

Strong knowledge in Revit, ArchiCad, Rhino, Lumion and 3DMax is essential.

The Dallas office of SmithGroupJJR is currently accepting applications for a Sr. Design Architect with a passion for higher education design.

Working with us, you will:

- Independently provides the full range of architectural design services on small to medium-sized projects.
- Supervises the design work of others to ensure integrated and cohesive designs.
- Mentors and trains junior and intermediate level staff.
- Creates and develops planning and design concepts.
- Assesses design requirements.
- Prepares presentation drawings and assist in presentations both internally and externally.
- Presents design solutions to client representatives and/or design review committees.
- Supervises the development of renderings for client presentations.

An ideal candidate:

- Has the ability to lead and work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Has advanced graphics and verbal presentation skills.
- Has a strong portfolio in higher education design.
- Has a demonstrated effectiveness in working in a team setting, communicating with others, customer satisfaction and technical competence.
- Is proficient with Building Information Modeling and 3D Skills. Proficiency in Revit and/or AutoCAD required.
- Has a minimum of 10+ years of experience.
- Possesses a Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or equivalent.
- Is a registered architect. Leed ap preferred.
