S_SK is looking for a creative and passionate junior level Designer / Architect with at least 2 years of experience to join our studio. Studio skaggs kennedy is a Berkeley, California based design practice for architecture and urbanism. We are a design oriented architecture firm with a variety of projects, including single-family & multi-family residential, retail, and restaurant. As an integral part of a small team, candidates must have excellent design, communication, interpersonal and graphic skills. Our team consists of creative, talented, intelligent, resourceful, thorough, detail oriented and positive individuals, and we look for the same in this position. We are flexible on whether this is a full time or part-time position.

Qualifications:

- M. Arch degree preferred, B. Arch recipients with previous office experience encouraged to apply.
- At least 2 years of architectural work experience.
- Competence in digital design and modeling. SketchUp and / or Rhino preferable, Revit a plus.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite & Microsoft Office required.
- Physical model making and drawing skills.
- Experience working with and preparing construction drawings.
- Ability to prioritize workload, often working on multiple projects at a time.
- Ability to work and complete tasks with minimal supervision, while also being able to judge when to seek guidance.
- A good sense of humor and perspective is always welcome.
- Authorization to work in the U.S.

Busy Dublin practice is looking for experienced architects with excellent housing and urban design skills. The practice is mainly involved in urban design led housing and mixed use schemes from master planning to completion. www.cck.ie

- Be an Architect eligible for registration in Ireland (MRIAI, Riba Part III, ARB or equivalent).
- May have Urban Design or Planning post graduate qualifications.
- Have excellent design and presentation skills, including report writing and publishing.
- Be well versed in good Urban Design practice from master planning to small scale infill.
- Be committed to good place making, sustainability and urbanism.
- Have an understanding of all dwelling typologies.
- Have design skills informed by housing experience from inception to completion.
- Be skilled at negotiating development plans, planning and building regulation.
- Use Autocad, sketchup/equivalent, and hand drawing in the design process.
- Have excellent team leading and motivation skills, and enjoy being part of multi-disciplinary teams.
