Qualifications

- Professional architecture degree, B.Arch or higher.
- 1 – 3 years design and construction experience preferred.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, 3D StudioMax, Adobe Photoshop & InDesign and MS Office.
- Ability to effectively communicate with design team.
- Ability to efficiently prepare digital renderings and construction documents.

Responsibilities

- Produce drawings for all design phases, conceptual design through construction documents.
- Produce materials for client presentations.
- Research manufacturers' materials, systems and specifications.
- Coordinate design with all consultants, including renderers, model builders and engineers.

Arquitectonica is a design-focused architecture, interior design and planning firm that began in Miami in 1977 as an experimental studio. Led by Bernardo Fort-Brescia and Laurinda Spear, the studio has evolved into a worldwide practice, combining the creative spirit of the principals with the efficiency of delivery and reliability of a major architectural firm.

This position is specifically for the New York office.

Full-time positions are available for work on several projects around the world with an immediate focus on work in the US and Canada. Projects will range in variety from high-rise residential, to large scale mixed-use developments and master planning. Successful candidates will work in all stages of project development from concept design through to construction administration and the capabilities / interests of the candidate will determine their involvement. Position requirements include:

- Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
- 3-5yrs post-grad experience.
- Technical skills in Revit.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and MS Office.
