COOKFOX Architects is seeking an Interior Designer with 2-5 years professional experience and excellent design skills to join our 80 person studio. This position will focus primarily on interior architecture work with an emphasis on the selection of finishes and fixtures, the development of architectural and millwork details, and the coordination of different trades including MEP and lighting. The interior designer will be fully integrated into the architectural project design team as the interior scope develops and he or she must demonstrate flexibility and attention to detail. The best candidates will have enthusiasm for environmental sustainability, dedication to design, and experience with a variety of project types.

The ideal candidate must meet the following qualifications:

- 2 to 5 years professional experience in an architectural or interior design office.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Interior Design or equivalent.
- Must have experience working on multiple interiors projects: high-end, multi- and single-family residential and / or hospitality experience preferred.
- Awareness of key design trends, lighting, color, and materials.
- Knowledge of interiors-related building codes, standards and Leed standards a plus.
- Comfort in working independently, demonstrates professionalism in dealing with a variety of high-end clients as well as vendors.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe CS Suite and AutoCAD required; SketchUp, Revit and procurement software (Studio Designer) a plus.
- Self-motivated, energetic, and organized, with strong graphic and communication skills.
- Knowledge of specifications and procurement of furniture, fixtures, and equipment (FF&E) and architectural / interior finishes is a plus.

We are seeking a junior designer with 1-2 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate must be self-motivated with great communication and drafting skills and work well with Architectural Management & Design team.

Responsibilities:

- Works directly with Project manager & design team.
- Production of Architectural drawing sets (from Concept Design through Construction Documents).
- Building Code and zoning research.
- Being involved in multiple projects simultaneously.
- Preparation of presentation packages.

Qualifications:
