OSports, a division of Osborn Engineering, has a rich heritage of sports and entertainment planning and design dating back to 1909, when the firm designed League Park, the first home of Cleveland's major league baseball team. Today our practice focuses on the design and redesign of some of the nation's most beloved venues including stadia, ballparks, race tracks, arenas and multi-purpose / multi-sport facilities.

OSports is looking for candidates interested in working on high profile and unique projects in the areas of Sports and Media Design. Led by our Sports, Entertainment and Technology Group, our projects are custom designs that utilize full integration of Architectural Design, Technology and Advanced Engineering to provide creative solutions for our clients.

Currently, we are looking for a Senior Architect to be the technical leader for our practice. This key role will engage all areas of our practice including; design projects, infrastructure projects, program management and exterior envelope commissioning. In addition to technical leadership, this role will require project management and client interface.

Primary Responsibilities:

- Senior / Lead Technical Architect for the group.
- Project Management and Client Interface.
- Exterior Envelope Commissioning.
- Peer Review of all construction documents, drawings and specifications, including all engineering disciplines.
- Research and coordination of materials and products for project specifications.
- Implementation of all local, state and federal applicable building codes, constructability and architectural standards of practice.
- Actively research new building materials and industry standards for implementation into future projects.
- Lead / Mentor Architectural Staff.
- Participate in all aspects of construction administration related activities (in office and on site).

Qualifications:

- Must have a Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Architecture.
- Must have 15 - 20 years of project architect experience within the architecture and construction field.
- Must have Strong understanding and knowledge of building codes, zoning regulations, building construction, building systems and site requirements.
- Must have Architectural License.
- Ability to provide efficient and elegant technical design solutions.
- Excellent communication skills, able to have a solid working relationship with clients.
- Proficient in current version of Revit Architecture – preferred.
- Proficient in Leed – preferred.
