Founded in 2015, Studio 2X is a women owned and operated boutique design firm located in DUMBO. Our portfolio includes retail, corporate, clinical, residential and not-for-profit projects. We are seeking talented and self-motivated “Intermediate Designers” with strong design and documentation skills to join our team.

- Must currently hold a legal residence in the US and have legal authorization to work in the US.
- Must currently live in the New York area.
- Must have a professional architecture degree (Masters degree a plus).
- Must have at least 4 years of experience, at least 2 of those years being US experience.
- Must be proficient in Sketch-up, AutoCAD 2016, and Adobe Creative Suite.
- Must have at least 2 years’ experience drafting construction documents.

This is a freelance position in office with a potential to become a full time position. Compensation commensurate with experience and qualifications. Rodriguez Studio is seeking a Junior Architect with 0-3 years of experience for a short term possibly leading to long term position on our team. Rodriguez Studio is a boutique architecture firm based in lower Manhattan. Our work is focused on high end residential with commercial and planning projects in the office as well. We provide opportunities for advancement/ increased responsibility.

The ideal candidate will possess:

- Degree in architecture (B.Arch or M.Arch), or in interior design.
- Mastery of Revit, Autocad, and various graphics programs platforms as well as typical office productivity software.
- Professional experience contributing to architectural drawing sets in an office environment- preferably construction documents in Revit.
- Strong design abilities (present your best examples).
- Good problem solving skills.
- Excellent computer modeling proficiency.
- Initiative to anticipate problems and find solutions/must be organized self starter- ability to get tasks accomplished.
- Ability to develop concepts from concept to documentation to construction.
- Must work well within team environment.
- Must be legally able to work in United States (citizenship, applicable visa or green card).
- Salary commensurate with experience.
