Arkhibuild Ltd is a high quality architectural design and build company based in Congleton. We specialise in designing and building domestic and commercial property to the very highest level with a low energy approach. We were founded 2010 and have experienced rapid growth over the last 6 years. We have been featured on the Channel 4 programme Building the Dream, and are currently working on a project for Grand Designs.

The role

You will be an ambitious senior project architect with experience of both contemporary and sustainable house design and project leading with clients. You will be responsible for the ownership of design projects, managing projects through all design stages liaising with the client and third party contractors, delivering the projects within the time and financial budgets. You will be able to work on your own initiative, and have a flair for thinking outside of the box. You will also oversee the other team members working for the organisation, providing guidance and support to ensure their projects are delivered within the time and financial budgets.

Qualifications

You will be need to be a qualified RIBA Chartered Architect with 3-5 years experience post Part 3 and of leading a team. You will be proficient in Autodesk Revit, and ideally with Passivhaus and Low Energy design experience.

- Architectural degree from an accredited school.
- 10 years of experience in construction document production and complex detailing. Knowledge of mid and high rise Building Construction Type I and Type II detailing is essential.
- Strong graphic skills and a commitment to high quality design.
- Experience in managing a project team.
- Proficiency in Revit with skill in Adobe Creative Suite and SketchUp preferred.
