A medium sized Architectural practice based just a stone’s throw from various Central London amenities is now hiring an experienced Project Architect to join them on a contract basis. The studio is best known for designing schemes within the retail, commercial and mixed-use sectors, and in recent years has emerged as a leader in the residential sector.

Due to an influx of new projects being secured, the Directors are now looking for a Project Architect to join the team to drive the delivery of various residential and retail projects. The ideal candidate will be a qualified Architect or Job Runner with experience working on commercial, residential or retail projects within the UK. You must be able to demonstrate relevant experience running a project from concept right through to completion and a thorough understanding of each of the RIBA stages. A strong technical ability will give you a distinct edge. The studio uses both Microstation and Revit, so proficiency with either of these software is essential.

This is an ongoing contract to start ASAP, and this studio has a good reputation for offering its contract staff excellent long-term opportunities and development. This role is paying between £23-£28 per hour.

We are currently seeking a talented and motivated senior architect with sustainability experience to join our growing New York Office.

This role will require you to have exceptional design, technical, communication and management skills with a background in mid-large scale sustainability projects.

The ideal candidate should be a Leed-accredited senior architect having approximately 10 years’ experience preferably with dual professional qualifications in architecture and engineering (however, not a prerequisite). They should be able to demonstrate the ability to develop novel and innovative solutions to achieve sustainability goals, experience in Leed-certified project delivery (ideally Platinum level), and be able to prepare a drawing set for a complex building from concept through 100% Construction Documentation. The candidate should also have the organizational skills and personality to effectively manage a team of architects within a collaborative studio environment and liaise with MEP and environmental engineering sub consultants among others.

The ideal candidate must:

- Possess a bachelor’s degree or higher in architecture.
- Have at least 10 years of experience working in a major architecture firm.
- Experience in large-scale public / cultural / transportation / transit projects is preferred.
- Communicate fluently, logically and effectively in English (both in speaking and writing).
- Be highly organised and efficient, able to multi-task through tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Possess well-established managerial and leadership and skill sets.
