Gresford Architects are a friendly emerging practice based in East London with a deep love for great design and low energy architecture, especially Passivhaus. We are currently looking for a design orientated, experienced architect with good job running, detailing and technical design skills, as well as an interest and knowledge of Passivhaus and sustainable design.

You will be an integral part of a small team with a shared commitment to design excellence, working on an exciting array of projects throughout London and the South East. The right candidate will have the opportunity to run their projects from inception to completion and will take responsibility for their delivery.

Essential skills or experience:

- AutoCAD.
- Preparing and submitting planning applications.
- Preparing and submitting tender packages.
- Knowledge of Building Regulations.
- Technical detailing for domestic projects.
- Contract administration.

Desirable skills or experience:

- SketchUp.
- InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop.
- Experience with listed buildings.
- Experience with ‘green’ technologies, especially Passivhaus.
- Driving licence and car.

Olson Kundig is looking for talented generalist architects and designers with three or more years of professional experience. Based in Seattle, the firm’s work is global, encompassing museums, commercial and mixed-use design, exhibit design, interior design and residences. We are interested in strong design that is realized through craft, innovation and technical knowledge.
