Based in Los Angeles and New York wHY was founded by Kulapat Yantrasast in 2004 and has established itself in the international design vanguard for completing widely-acclaimed projects that serve the arts, communities, and the environment. Our practice is structured as an "Ecology of Disciplines"—four workshops focusing on ideas, buildings, grounds and objects—to approach projects from multiple angles resulting in holistic, sustainable designs. Design Thinking is at the core of our practice and we look for opportunities for innovation in all of our projects. Our projects are diverse and so is our collaborative team and network. Currently, the Los Angeles office is working on a large mixed-use development in the LA Arts District, a youth arts & culture center in the Bay Area, several gallery/art spaces, private houses and numerous special projects.

We are looking for an Entry Level Designer who has strong design and production skills and is available to begin immediately. This is a full time position: salaried, commensurate with experience, with benefits. Applicants must be eligible to work in the US. wHY is an equal opportunity employer.

Required Skills and Credentials:

- Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture (B-Arch).
- Minimum 1 year work experience in an architecture firm.
- Some work experience in an architecture firm.
- Ability to work in a design intensive, collaborative environment.
- Ability to manage multiple assignments; good communication skills.
- A positive can-do attitude and self-motivated to learn and problem solve.
- Strong working knowledge of Adobe Creative-Suite (Illustrator, InDesign and Photoshop).
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD.
- Excellent 3D rendering/modeling skills – Rhino / V-Ray.
- Working knowledge of 3D Max.
- Physical model making skills and experience.
- Additional Skills that will be considered a plus.

Experience in digital fabrication techniques.

- Shop Skills.
- Revit Experience.
- Experience or Study/Degree in Landscape Architecture.

Jonathan Dunn Architects is an Riba Award Winning Practice with offices in London and East Sussex. We are looking for a qualified Architect for both our Battersea and Rye Offices.

The successful applicant will have the opportunity to work on a range of projects from contemporary residential schemes, new build dwellings, listed buildings and commercial works. Applicants will need to be willing to take on projects from inception to completion. You will deal directly with clients, engineers & contractors so good communication and people skills are essential.

Essential:

- Ability to develop creative and considered design solutions.
- Experience of producing tender and construction drawing packages.
- Understanding of construction methods and materials.
- Good knowledge of current UK Building Regulations.
- Proficiency in Autocad, 3d Modelling and Adobe Creative Suite.
- Salary will be based on level of qualification and experience.
