We are seeking a talented designer, able to formulate original architectural concepts and to work with the design team to take these concepts through to full scheme / detailed design.

Llewelyn Davies is involved in a range of projects in the UK and overseas, including hospitals, airports, master planning and mixed-use projects. You will not be expected to have a detailed knowledge of these building types, rather a strong understanding of the design process. You will however be expected to be able to communicate your ideas clearly and rationally.

The candidate should therefore have a good command of English as the role will lead to the presentation / communication of designs to clients. Relevant CAD 2D/3D drawing skills are essential and preferably, hand drawn abilities (sketches or diagrams) would be seen as a positive attribute. Good interpersonal skills are also required to ensure positive working relationships within a friendly company and with other design team members.

We will consider a range of experience levels, as we are keen to select the right person. Structured training programmes are available to support the development of the individual and there is the opportunity to create a meaningful career path within a growing company.
