Opportunities exist to work on a variety of projects, generally for urban public spaces and of high design ambition. We are looking for a motivated Landscape Architect to join our dedicated studio. This position entails collaborating with the studio’s principal and landscape designers to prepare design drawings and construction documents.
Applicants should possess 5-8 years of experience, be effective communicators with clients and colleagues, display leadership and be experienced in project management. Our ideal candidate will demonstrate broad technical knowledge of construction documentation including detailing, materials and grading, and will have excellent design and construction management skills. They will also possess an in-depth understanding of hardscape construction and plant material, and be comfortable working with a team of multi-disciplinary professionals. The applicant must have strong technical skills including proficiency with AutoCAD 2014, Adobe Creative Suite 6, and Microsoft Office, and lead staff in the production of construction documentation packages. An ability to manage time effectively is important and working positively in a small studio environment is essential. We are located in the Tribeca neighborhood of lower Manhattan.
