Currently, we are seeking a Project Architect I and Project Architect II. As part of our astonishing team, you will provide architectural support for projects focused on construction and renovation at our medical center. To qualify, you must have a Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or a related field and 1-2 years of applicable experience (the Project Architect II position requires 7 years of experience). Proficiency with AutoCAD and Microsoft Office software is also required, as is working knowledge of relevant building codes. Excellent communication, interpersonal, analytical, problem-solving, decision-making and presentation skills are essential to success.

The candidate should have 1-5 years of experience in an office environment and a professional degree in architecture. Should have strong experience working on institutional, higher education, government, military, or residential projects are desired. The ideal candidate should be able to take direction and as well as work independently as needed. The candidate also needs to be a team player, and take responsibility for work assigned. Ability to work on short timeframes and meet deadlines is a must. The candidate should have strong organization shills, flexibility in multi-tasking, and highly self-motivation are required. Strong written and oral communication skills and able to work within a team at a fast-paced environment. AutoCAD, Revit, and adobe Acrobat proficiency are required. Knowledge of SketchUp and Photoshop are preferable.
Job duties:
- Drafting of projects, picking up redlines, small design tasks as a part of a larger design, creating sheet layouts, and performing quality assurance on drawings.
- Perform preliminary code analysis under the supervision of an architect and create preliminary renderings for clients.
- Carry out a project from conceptual stage to materialization.
