We are looking for enthusiastic staff to join our growing practice that has a consistently increasing workload. We are looking for a Part II Architectural Assistant/ recently qualified Part III Architects and experienced Architectural Technician/ Technologists.
Architectural Assistant Part II/ Newly Qualified Architect Part III (Permanent or Fixed Term Contract)
The correct candidate shall support the design team in preparing AutoCAD and presentation drawings, sketch-up models and reports. The role would suit a candidate wishing to obtain knowledge and experience to sit their Part III exam. Previous employment of at least a year within an architectural practice is required.
All candidates must be self-motivated and capable of working as an individual or within a team, be good in communication with strong written and presentation skills, and have experience of AutoCAD as well as having technical and hand drawing ability. Experience of Revit, Photoshop and Sketch-up would be advantageous. Each candidate shall be supervised and supported to a level proportional to their experience.
The ability to drive and access to a car would be advantageous. Immediate availability is desirable, but not essential.

Manage the overall project through all design phases including client interaction, schedule and financial performance. Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills are essential.
Job responsibilities:
- Generate Design Services Proposals and Contracts.
- Understand contracts and manage projects from inception through to project closeout.
- Responsible for internal personnel management, budgeting and billing duties.
- Responsible for day-to-day interface with the client and collective design team including consultants.
- Responsible for day-to-day control and management of the architectural team (design through contract documents and contract administration) as well as the client and consultant teams.
- Responsible for day-to-day management and oversight of production drawings and specifications for all phases of a project from test fitting through contract documents.
- Lead in coordination with consultants and design team.
- Responsible for quality control of the contract documents.
- Lead all aspects of the Construction Administration phase including site meetings, submittals and preparation of field sketches.
Key skills:
- Bachelor or Master degree in Architecture is required.
- Minimum 4 to 8 years’ with Higher Education experience.
- Strong organization, communication, technical and graphic skills.
- Demonstrated experience in and readiness to lead the technical details of projects.
- Proficient with computer-assisted design software such as Revit, AutoCAD, Photoshop, Illustrator, In-design; 3D software such as Sketchup.
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office software.
- License preferred.
