Urban Planner / Architect
19/08/2014There is an open position available in our office in Beijing, China. Focus is on conceptual design of large and medium scale urban planning projects and architecture projects within an international and multidisciplinary team.
Requirements:
- Bachelor Degree or above in Architecture/City Planning.
- More than 2 years of work experience in project design and management (alternative: Master degree is equivalent to 2 years work experience).
- Familiar with CAD, SketchUp, other graphic programs and office suite.
- Fluent in English.
- Working with great passion, unique and excellent design idea and style, strong communication and presentation skills, team work spirit.
- Candidates with work experience in China will be favored.

Since its founding in 1978 in Germany, ISA has been conducting research and practical work in Europe, Asia and South America. Particular emphasis is placed on urban and regional planning, town renewal and urban design, new towns and new district planning, public space, urban light design, architecture, industrial architecture, interior design, landscape design and urban ecology.

CIDA Accredited Interior Design or Bachelor of Architecture.
Experience:
2-5 years of experience; emphasis on design, planning, finish and material selection and construction documents.
Certifications:
On track to become Registered Interior Designer or Architect, State of Texas.
Technical:
Required: Revit, AutoCAD &/or Microstation, Microsoft Office Suite: Adobe Creative Suite, Google Sketchup or other 3D rendering software.
Position:
Full-time salaried position for Interior Designer or Architect with a passion for corporate interior architecture. Must show potential in organization, time management and client service. Must be a team-player and able to adapt to various team structures, working independently and as part of a larger team. Job will include design tasks including space planning, concept design, design development, construction documents.
Background:
lauckgroup is an interior architecture firm with offices in Dallas, Austin and Houston. We are a small firm with approximately 40 full-time staff and work regionally, nationally and internationally. lauckgroup’s work focuses on high touch projects with a hand crafted design approach. Projects are highly detailed and require integration of multiple consultants, furniture and architectural elements. Project size and scope vary from 5,000 to 500,000 square feet.
Compensation:
Commensurate with experience. Benefits include health insurance, 401K with matching, annual allowance of CEU hours and more.
