We are looking for a full-time designer/architect with 1- 3 years of full-time office experience and a minimum of a 5 year bachelors degree in architecture. The firm provides many opportunities for professional growth and experience regarding design, documentation and development of unique, modern architectural ideas. Our work is highly diversified and consists of Institutional, commercial, mixed and multi-family residential and high end custom single family residential work.
Minimum requirements for consideration are 1-3 years of full-time office work experience, a strong knowledge and professional experience of 3D modeling in SketchUp and Rhino, and experience in preparing construction documents in REVIT and AutoCAD. Other related and desirable skills would include: proficiency in Adobe Suite programs and all basic Microsoft Office programs, familiarity with local building and zoning codes, familiarity with fundamental construction methodology. Responsibilities are based on your abilities but would typically consist off assisting with or manage all phases of a project 3D modeling / presentation, production of documentation via REVIT and/or AutoCAD, communicating effectively with consultants, clients, and team members.

Since 1959, MKDA has specialized in the workplace environment, providing design services to corporations, commercial building owners, non-profits and government agencies.
The New York studio of MKDA is currently seeking a motivated, technically strong and creative junior architect with excellent verbal and written communication skills and three (3) years of architectural experience in corporate interiors.
Responsibilities will include assisting the Project Manager and Job Captain on project work that includes creating construction documents; general drafting and detailing; construction administration and shop drawing review; field surveys and reports, etc.
Candidates must have either a B.Arch or M.Arch degree and a minimum of three years of experience as well as strong organization, team building and relationship management skills. Must be skilled in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office Suite. Adobe Creative Suite and Revit experience a plus.
