My client is a well established developer building a wide range of projects from high-rise developments in London to bespoke projects in the Home Counties. They have a fantastic pipeline of developments and are actively acquiring new sites. Due to expansion they now wish to appoint a Senior Designer.

Reporting to the Development Director you will be responsible for the design function of the business. This is a wide ranging and senior role and includes:

- Formulating design strategies via external consultants.
- Or, be able to "put pen to paper" and develop schemes internally.
- Working in conjunction with the planning team, liaise with and lead planning authorities, working through complex planning negotiations.
- Ideally, have strong technical ability to ensure that the product is technically robust.
- Work with on-site teams with regards to design/technical queries.
- Present to committees, public exhibitions and at community consultations.
- Negotiate with Chief Executives, Heads of Planning and Leaders of council.

Personal requirements:

You are a qualified architect who has a wide range of mainly residential experience, gained either in a developer or practice environment. You are entrepreneurial and can work through a problem to gain the best technical outcome. You understand the delicate balance between aesthetic, “buildability” and cost. You are a strong team player and are able to motivate others, both internal and external, to achieve key milestones. You are very comfortable working at a senior level and can stand in for the Development Director when absent.

About the offer:

c£70,000 + Car + Bonus + Package

An increasing clientele has created opportunities for us to grow this part of our business and we need architects with hospitality experience. We are looking for a project manager or project architect that has 5 to 10 years of experience in the hospitality sector. We need someone on our team who can lead a hospitality project and can excel working with clients and consultants.

- A graduate from an accredited school of architecture.
- State licensure (any state preferred).
- At least 5 to 10 years of hospitality project experience.
- At least 2 to 5 years experience working in ArchiCAD (proficiency in ArchiCAD is preferred).
- Willing to relocate to Springfield.
- Team player with excellent communication and drawing skills.
- Self-motivated and dedicated to project success.
