Project Architect
22/09/2014Leroy Street Studio is a unique architectural firm with integrated practices in community design, construction management and interior design. Our work is inspired by innovation, the craft of construction, and a collaborative approach. We are seeking an experienced architect to lead the development of projects through all phases of design.
Requirements for the position:
- Professional degree (B Arch or M Arch), licensure preferred but not required.
- Minimum 3-5 years of full-time work experience, preferably in single family residential design.
- Strong design background with rigorous methodology and attention to detail.
- Excellent organizational, writing, and verbal communications skills.
- Strong research, technical and detailing skills.
- Strong project management and team leadership skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively with contractors in the field.
- Ability to work collaboratively in an intensive, open office environment.
- Proficiency in CAD, Sketchup / Rhino, and Adobe Suite; knowledge of Vectorworks is a plus.
