Karin Payson architecture and design [KPa+d] seeks an intermediate designer or architect for our award-winning practice. KPa+d is located in the North Beach neighborhood of San Francisco; we offer a close-knit and supportive office culture committed to high design and technical standards. Our work integrates strong planning principles with an attention to natural light, landscape and meticulous detailing to form a cohesive architectural response. We engage in a variety of project types and currently carry a mix of residential, commercial and institutional work. KPa+d has completed numerous high-end single-family homes, mixed-use developments, public libraries and custom commercial interiors for clients across the United States. Our projects have been published in Architectural Digest, California Homes and Sunset Magazine.
We are looking for an advanced intern architectural designer or recently licensed architect with an interest in and a talent for the technical side of architecture as much as design. The successful candidate will be organized, articulate, self-motivated and comfortable with the varied opportunities encountered in a small firm environment.
In our small office, each individual is encouraged to grow professionally by being exposed to a wide variety of responsibilities and opportunities; your role will evolve according to your strengths. You will work closely with our principal and fellow staff members on all aspects of our practice. This position will be involved in our projects from the initial stages of planning and design through documentation and construction administration, at times as a project manager or as part of a larger team.
A minimum of 5 years of work experience since receiving your professional degree is required. Verbal and written proficiency and an excellent command of Vectorworks and AutoCAD are essential to the job. Skill in Revit is a plus.

Revit Documentation Architect

An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced Revit architect or technician to be a part of the architectural group within Atlas, the leading supplier of professional architectural and engineering services to practices in UK, Australia and Japan.
The successful candidate will be based in Saigon, working on major UK, Australian and international projects using Revit to provide BIM and documentation services on some of the world's most iconic and complex projects.
You will have a minimum of 5 years experience using Revit at its highest level of application, and a minimum of 10 years of architectural construction documentation experience in the UK and / or Australia on major projects.
Your role will include supporting the Atlas BIM manager, contributing to client discussions with respect to the development of delivery strategies on major projects, BIM Execution Plans, and quality matters.
Applicants must be able to operate effectively at manager level, and be capable of managing teams of up to 10 architects, have excellent technical and client management skills with a proven track record of delivering major projects through to completion.
