Requirements:
- Bachelors or Masters Degree in Architecture.
- Minimum 3-5 years experience in high-end architecture and interior architecture.
- Excellent AutoCAD drafting and 3D skills (Sketch-up, 3D Max, quality rendering).
- Proficiency with graphics software (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator).
- Construction documentation experience.
- Knowledge of building codes, standards and procedures (NYC and Hamptons).
- Attention to detail and commitment to follow-through.
- Experience in graphic presentations.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.

Form Architecture + Interiors is a high end residential design firm, specializing in projects in New York City and the Hamptons, and currently completing projects in various locations throughout the world. We are looking for a Senior Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be able to assimilate into our tight knit team and meet the following requirements:
- Minimum 6-8 years post graduate experience.
- Minimum 2 years managerial experience.
- Expert organization and time management skills.
- Expert in-depth knowledge of design history, current design trends and modern antique market in US, Europe, South America, and elsewhere.
- Strong sophisticated design aesthetic.
- Strong critical thinking skills and ability to perform under pressure.
- Established relationships with vendors, contractors, and clients.
- Strong skills in graphic/presentation layouts, AutoCAD, Sketchup, hand sketching/rendering.
As the Senior Designer, this position will perform a variety of the following duties, and other tasks necessary to deliver a complete project under deadlines:
Oversee all aspects of interior design process from conception to installation and follow up including:
- FF&E selection, material selection, furniture plans, elevations, renderings, client presentation packages, site surveys, custom furniture design, antique restoration management, shop drawing reviews, delivery coordination, schedules, installations.
- Work closely with principals, follow direction and take initiative accordingly and delegate as required to support staff/team.
- Create and maintain budgets and schedules.
- Strong skills in graphic/presentation layouts, AutoCAD, Sketchup, hand sketching/rendering.
- Travel when necessary.
- Participate in team environment.
