Project / Senior Architect

Star architectural practice with an enviable reputation is undertaking significant growth and is looking to expand their team. Only candidates of the highest calibre will be considered and Architects will need to demonstrate wide experience of project/team management and delivery with a proven track record in multiple sectors from residential, commercial, mixed use, art & culture, and public sector. Working across all RIBA stages, applicants must be fully proficient in Microstation, Sketch-up and ideally Revit.

Qualifications and personal qualities:

RIBA or ARB registered Architect with experience of working within the United Kingdom.

Candidates must have strong interpersonal skills, be highly computer literate self-motivated and a clear thinker, alongside a strong team player who can work in a multi-disciplinary team and able to work to tight deadlines.

Intermediate Designer

NAVA is seeking Intermediate Designers with 3+ years of experience with focus on residential and commercial projects. NAVA is a forward thinking real estate development, architecture and interior design company. NAVA operates in a focused studio environment with offices on Union Square in NYC We integrate real estate development, architecture and development strategy into a comprehensive design offering that is unique in our profession.

Candidates for the Intermediate Designer position must exhibit strong creativity and a skillful design vocabulary, as well as an ability to lead an energetic, fast-paced creative process to develop innovative design solutions. All candidates must have well-rounded experience in architecture, with particular focus on design from programming to material selection and detailing. Strong graphic and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work in a team environment, are also critical.

Specific qualifications involve:

- Accredited Professional or Graduate degree in Architecture with at least 5 years professional experience.
- Extensive knowledge of 3D modeling, presentation and design software; Sketchup, AutoCAD, Rhino, InDesign and Photoshop are key. Revit is optional.
- Expert Design skills and ability to come up with innovative solutions to complex design problems.
- Experience leading the efforts on complex projects with multiple variables in a variety of environments.
- Skilled at multitasking and working toward multiple deadlines.
- Competence in leading a fast-paced, collaborative design environment.
- Strong graphic and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate design solutions to, and interact directly with clients.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently to lead design team.
