Marc Newson is one of the most acclaimed and influential designers of his generation. He has worked across a wide range of disciplines, creating everything from furniture and household objects, to bicycles and cars, private and commercial aircraft, yachts, various architectural commissions, and signature sculptural pieces for clients across the globe.

We are seeking enthusiastic and hardworking UK-BASED candidates to apply for the role of Qualified Architect for a 6-month contract to commence in August.

We would like to advise that this is not a design or conceptual architectural job and will be mainly in relation to overseeing two specific project builds from a technical and engineering perspective.

Qualifications:

- Qualified architect with up to three years’ experience post Part III, ideally in international residential or luxury projects.

General requirements:

- Good design skills and sound technical knowledge of building techniques and construction.
- Experience in final and detailed planning of architectural projects and all building phases.
- Fully conversant with current building regulations.
- Excellent project management skills and capable of multi-tasking.
- Experience in architectural coordination such as coordinating with other architects in locations worldwide, reviewing, interpreting and amending plans or construction drawings.
- Good time management skills; delivering work on time and to a high standard.
- Excellent visual and verbal communication skills.
- Fluency in English.
- Must have the legal right to work in the UK/sponsorship not available.

Technical Requirements:

- Advanced AutoCAD and Rhino skills.
- Very good Adobe CS skills (Photoshop, Illustrator etc.).
- Evidence in the CV of technical detailing.
