Fabiano Designs is a boutique Architecture and Interior Design firm in Montclair, NJ. Over the past 24 years, we have successfully completed complex building renovations, new buildings and numerous high end interior fit-outs. While our expertise started in the Health and Wellness realm, it has expanded to include a broader range of project types and sizes.
As our client base and project type expands, we are looking for someone to grow with us. Since we are a small firm, the experience and exposure will be exciting and diverse with responsibility for all phases of work.
We are currently accepting resumes for a job captain/architect with the following qualities/experience:
- Minimum of 3-5 years experience.
- Educational background in Architecture with a B.Arch or M. Arch degree.
- Team oriented, articulate, and highly productive.
- Extremely organized and intelligent, self directed problem solver.
- Capable of being the liaison between office, clients, contractors, and consultants.
- Proficient in Auto CAD, experience with Revit a plus.
- Able to produce drawings for all design phases from master planning and concept design through construction documents and facilitate construction administration.
- Able to put together a set of drawings with some oversight.
- Excellent detail capabilities and experience a must.
- Good design sense.
- Willingness to work in a dynamic, small office environment.
This is a full-time position and salary is negotiable based on experience.
Due to an increasing workload and desire to progress the practice we are looking for a qualified Architectural Technologist/Architect with a minimum of 10 years experience post MCIAT or RIBA Pt III.
The successful applicant will take a lead role in projects ranging from theme park designs to housing development and must be a fully proficient 'job runner' able to take projects from conception to completion.
Experience in Revit/BIM is prefered but not essential as training will be provided.
