Junior Architect
24/10/2014David Smotrich & Partners LLP a well established architectural design firm, seeks a highly motivated Junior Architect who is willing to take on responsibility and grow as part of our team. Our tenet is a commitment to design excellence which we define as a high level of aesthetic quality that is also functional, durable and economically sound. We are seeking an individual who possesses similar values along with excellent design capabilities and a strong work ethic. Candidate must have a Bachelor or Masters of Architecture degree with a minimum of 1-3 years of experience. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, proficiency in AutoCAD, 3D Studio and SketchUp are a must. Abilities in Revit are a plus.
This is the opportunity to be an integral player throughout all phases of the design and construction process. Our office is a closely-knit work environment and for the right candidate there is excellent growth potential. Salary is commensurate with experience. Johnston Cave Associates is a 20 strong practice based on the fringes of Oxford, recognised locally and nationally as specialists in private house commissions and historic buildings.
Due to our expanding portfolio, we are currently looking to appoint a talented Part 3 or recently qualified architect to join our team.
Applicants should have an interest in learning and applying good technical and creative skills along with an enthusiasm and sensibility for old buildings.
This is a permanent and full time contract.
Salary negotiable.
