The primary duties of the Junior Architect will be to provide project participation in all phases of design including Concept, Design Development, Construction Documents with emphasis on demonstrated Construction Administration experience. The candidate will be expected to understand and develop aspects of working drawings and details. The following is required of the candidate:
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Architecture (professional degree only).
- 3+ years of experience.
- Proficient in AutoCAD with Bentley Microstation and BIM project experience (Bentley Architecture and/or Revit) a plus.
- Experience with Adobe Suite and Rendering Programs such as 3D Max and Rhino are preferred.
- Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Mid-Level Architect: 5 to 10 years of experience
The primary duties of the Mid-Level Architect will be to provide project participation in all phases of design including Concept, Design Development, Construction Documents and Construction Administration. The candidate must have design / production experience with knowledge of architectural working drawings / details. The following is required of the candidate:
- Licensure in New York State is REQUIRED - please do not apply if applicant is not licensed.
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Architecture (professional degree only).
- 5 to 10 years of experience.
- Proficient in AutoCAD with BIM experience a plus.
- Coordinates the work of a multi-disciplined team throughout all phases of a project.
- Coordinates and assists with affected disciplines, Submittals, RFIs, and Bulletins.
- Should be self-motivated and be able to work independently.
- Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and other graphic / design software including the Adobe Design Suite.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to effectively communicate and coordinate in design studio.
Preferred project experience includes: K-12 schools, higher-ed and design of large scale public projects (transit stations and convention centers). Experience and interest in sustainable design / documentation / LEED strongly encouraged, with applicable certifications preferred. Send resumes to email.

We are a small, busy practice with a wide variety of projects predominantly in the residential sector, including conservation, large scale London Refurbishments and a growing number of low energy new build projects. Teaching Architecture and Environmental Design ensures that we are generally looking to propose both creative and sustainable solutions to clients.
You should have good communication & people skills as the job will involve speaking directly to clients, consultants and contractors. Strong hands-on technical abilities, experience in detailing buildings and a good sense of humour is also essential!
