Our client an award-winning international architecture practice based in East London are seeking an experienced Project Architect with expertise in urban/master planning to join their rapidly growing office. In the Project Architect role you will be working on an exciting and prestigious Commercial project in central London.
As Project Architect you should have solid experience managing a small Architectural team as well as the ability to mentor members of the team. As the Project Architect you should be confident liasing with consultants as well as sitting down with clients. For the Project Architect role you will ideally have 6 or more years experience in detailing and delivering high quality commercial buildings as well as good organisational skills. Ideally experience should combine design with commercial office experience as they want to bring a mature outlook to the team. Knowledge of Revit is essential for this role as well as experience of working in Rhino, AutoCAD and Sketchup.

Candidates must be exceptional - passionate, collaborative, and talented while willing to take on all aspects of design from conception to realization. An intermediate architect will work closely with the Partners & Directors of the firm to formulate and execute solutions for high-profile client’s needs.
Candidates must be firmly committed to each project from its conceptual development through construction administration. They will responsibly contribute to and manage the production of schematic drawings, design development drawings and CD drawings as well as contribute to design efforts through 3D rendering. They will be responsible for coordinating with clients and consultants in producing drawings sets that achieve the clients’ goals and incorporate the consultants’ feedback.
Candidates will assist in the preparation of information regarding materials, finishes, furniture and equipment, including product research, generating finish schedules and furniture specifications and engaging in the active coordination of these items with the project construction. An intermediate architect will be the primary point of contact for contractors and track and record the construction administration process through the tools designed for this purpose.
Candidates must meet all of these requirements in order to apply:
- Value design excellence and possess a strong design sensibility and intuition.
- Have at least 3 years of previous related work experience.
- Be proficient in and/or have an aptitude for CADD and Adobe-based software and 3-D rendering programs.
- BA in Architecture or Architectural Design, BS in Architecture or a Bachelor of Interior Design.
- Being willing to live in the DC metro area.
