Job description:
- Plans, schedules, organize, and execute distinct portions of larger projects; or entire portion of smaller projects.
- Responsible for various portions of project design, including conceptual, schematic and design phases through to construction phase services.
- Responsible for coordination of design team.
- Coordinates work of consultants with architectural documents.
- Coordinates with other Associates and Directors on project to assure continuity and consistency of documentation.
- Participates in office professional organization and staff development.
Job requirements:
- Minimum of 6 years experience in design development, architectural design, documentation, and construction phase services.
- RA preferred, but not required.
- Prior experience in successfully leading project teams and coordinating with project consultants/clients.
- Extensive knowledge of architectural design, documentation, detailing, building materials, building codes and construction technologies.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit.
- Strong design and technical skills, as well as excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Currently living in NY area and available to start within 2 weeks of acceptance of the position.
- Legally eligible to work in the United States.

KSQ Architects, PC is seeking a project architect/designer to join our team in our White Plains, NY or Manhattan office to work on collegiate student life, multifamily housing, and K-12 schools. Candidates should be self motivated team players and have excellent design and production skills. Candidate should be well versed in a variety of architectural styles and have the ability to work in a team environment.
- 3-10 years of professional experience.
- Strong proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit Architecture and SketchUP.
- Excellent written, verbal, organizational, graphic, and presentation skills.
- Professional degree in architecture from an accredited architecture program, or equivalent.
