An international and highly reputable design practice has an immediate requirement for a Senior Site Architect to work on a hospital project in Bahrain.

Responsibilities:

- Providing technical design solutions to any problems encountered on site with focus on the construction phases of development.
- Carry out regular site inspections.
- Review and monitor the Contractor’s procedures, practices and progress on site.
- Review and monitor shop drawings, materials and method statements.
- Represent the company at client, supplier and contractors’ meetings.
- Prepare technical schedules.
- Responding to RFI’s.

To be considered for this role you should have a degree in architecture and 10+ year’s experience. Previous healthcare experience is essential as well as impeccable communication skills, strong design and technical skills and a proven background in overseeing the delivery of complex building projects to the highest of international standards.

This is an incredible opportunity to work on projects ranging from window displays through to set design for exhibitions, parties, events and pop-up stores.

Key day-to-day tasks of the interior CAD designer include:

- Compiling the creative and technical packages for a range of concurrent projects.
- Visual realisation of creative concepts.
- 3D modeling of creative concepts.
- Conducting site surveys with the production team.
- Preparation of technical packages for issue to manufacturers.
- Technical problem solving with internal and external stakeholders.
- Assisting on installations with the production team, where deemed necessary.

Key attributes of the interior CAD designer include:

- A minimum 1 year in retail design or similar industry/field.
- Being able to understand the project in hand quickly is essential, as is having knowledge of architectural drawings.
- Vectorworks.
- Adobe Creative Suite.
- Sketch Up.
