MRA is a small, vibrant architectural firm of nine staff with a portfolio of prestigious global luxury retail clients. Our design studio that specialises in high-end commercial concept and interior design is looking for a mid-weight interior designer/project architect to join its team in London.
This position will involve working closely with the directors in developing and presenting concepts to clients, developing CAD drawings using AutoCAD and executing the design. Excellent client management skills are required as it will be necessary to work closely with and in some cases lead the rest of the MRA team, clients, external consultants and all relevant stakeholders etc.
Candidates will have focused their career in commercial design and have a minimum of five years practical business experience in a design firm. Our projects are fast moving so you will need to be highly competent and organised, have excellent team management skills, and be a proficient AutoCAD user. Candidates must have demonstrable experience in concept design, fixture and furniture development, producing CAD drawings, managing drawing sets and project management skills. Proven experience of assembling tender and construction packages is essential. Knowledge of building construction details is important and a familiarity of retail furniture detailing would be an advantage.
Fluency in both written and oral English are also vital to the role. Availability to travel would also be important.

- You will be a qualified interior designer/project architect with 5+ years experience.
- Salary Package: Negotiable, depending on experience.

AT Design Consulting, Inc. is looking for an experienced architectural Color & Material designer to join our highly creative design studio in Irvine, California. The candidate must be extremely design and detailed oriented, meticulous, passionate, and a team player. You must have the ability to multitask and manage projects. Must be familiar with WORD, EXCEL, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, SketchUp, AutoCAD and an ability to communicate design ideas/solutions via electronic formats. Must have excellent design skills, minimum three years of previous experience within the architectural/design industry, preferably on residential projects.
Responsibilities:
- In conjunction with the principles, develop design concepts, finish materials and selections to meet project needs.
- Manage project schedules with staff.
- Preparation of project deliverables: drawings, sketches, CAD drawing packages, design booklets, schedules, etc.
- Review and prepare project design needs per each phase of project schedule.
- Organize project documentation packages in accordance with our standards, focused on design, quality and timely delivery to Client.
- Serve as chief liaison between AT Design Consulting and all project related entities (client, architect, consultants, product vendors, project site superintendents, etc.)
- Coordinate, prepare and attend client presentations as required.
- Be able to keep an organized and structured material and product library.
- Some travel may be expected.
