WATG has an opportunity for an Intermediate Designer, Architecture in our Irvine, CA office. This position is responsible for assisting the Senior Project Designer and Project Designer in designing small to mid-size hospitality projects. The Intermediate Designer assists in the development of the project design, production of presentation drawings, sketches and assists in solving design complexities. This individual must demonstrate creativity and good design judgment. This position is expected to demonstrate professionalism, high standards and sound judgment. It is essential to develop your knowledge in architecture and to support a continuous learning environment. Team building and motivation are also key responsibilities.
This position requires a B.S. or B.A. in Architecture and 6+ years experience in designing small to mid-size architectural projects including urban and resort hotels. An architecture license is preferred. It is essential for the Intermediate Designer position to demonstrate creativity, a strong design sensibility and knowledge of architectural project phases. This position requires the ability to use computer systems as an effective tool as well as proficiency in CAD, Revit and 3D modeling. Presentation skills are required. Travel may be required.

We are a design-led, central London practice, looking for a UK registered project architect with a minimum of 5 years post part 3 RIBA qualifications with excellent communication, presentation and technical skills. The successful applicant will be responsible for developing the detailed scheme designs through production information as part of a small team for a luxury Country House Hotel and Health Club which involves listed Grade II buildings and extensive new build underground construction.
The applicant must demonstrate their up-to-date and relevant experience in this field from design to completion. Good team management skills and experience with AutoCAD, Sketch Up and NBS is essential. Salary commensurate with experience.
