Michaelis Boyd is a well-established West London design led practice currently working on very exciting projects in the UK and internationally.

Our diverse portfolio includes Soho House, Byron restaurants, quirky London townhouses, a large hotel in New York and luxury apartments in the Battersea Power Station.

We are currently recruiting for a fully qualified Architect to work on an increasing workload for design based projects.

This position is ideal for an ambitious job running Architect with at least 4 years post Part 3 experience, who wants to work in a medium sized firm where you will be an integral member of the team. The individual should be enthusiastic, energetic and looking for exposure to a variety of projects of varied scale from inception through to completion.

The individual should be confident in designing and delivering projects to a high technical standard. Verbal and graphic skills are key as there will be frequent client meetings and presentations. We are looking for a strong portfolio showing innovative design, thorough construction knowledge and experience of working at all RIBA stages.

The candidate must be RIBA or ARB registered Architect with extensive experience of working within the United Kingdom with the following skills:

- Excellent presentation skills, both verbally and drawing.
- Experience of working directly with the client, contractor and design team.
- Detailed knowledge of UK residential design standards and statutory requirements.
- Excellent working knowledge of CAD systems, Vectorworks.
- Knowledge of BIM drawing/information management would be an advantage.
- The candidate must be a team player and able to work to tight deadlines!
